Dr. Martin Sullivan spent the first decade of his life in growing up in Woodstock, GA. It was there that he first discovered his fascination with sports and more specifically, baseball. Upon his family’s move to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida (30-A), Dr. Sullivan became enthralled in action sports such surfing, paddle or YOLO boarding, skating, and skim-boarding. Due to the nature of these sports, this inevitably lead to multiple injuries in which chiropractic care was always part of the cure.
Dr. Sullivan went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University in 2015. While there he spent majority of his extra time learning about nutrition, strength and conditioning, and athletic performance through both classes and personal experience. Dr. Sullivan then went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic – Florida Campus and graduated Cum Laude in 2018.
During his time at Palmer, Dr. Sullivan quickly became a standout on campus for his enthusiasm, his understanding of the body, and his ability to communicate with his patients.
His eagerness to learn and general desire to break away from the “cookie cutter” methods seen all too frequently in health care, lead him to learn a wide variety of techniques (Applied Kinesiology, SOT, Gonstead, IASTT, Trigger Point, Toggle Recoil) as well as acquire multiple additional certifications in acupuncture, extremity adjusting, and kinesiology taping. This knowledge base along with proficiency and dedication to the profession earned Dr. Sullivan the Clinical Excellence Award for his class.
Since graduation from Palmer, Dr. Sullivan has continued his educational journey, diving into understanding the complexities of sport injuries and rehab. This journey has introduced many new and exciting ways of healing including Pulsed Electromagnetic Frequencies (PEMF) and Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM).
In his free time Dr. Sullivan enjoys being outdoors with his fiancé and their German shepherd, Luna, or staying in to watch the newest shows on Netflix.
